And that how can we be aware that something has just turned up, whether it is intergenerational or not? If we're not attached in with our bodies and we're not embodied in the minute, how would certainly we even understand? Like, going back to the extremely beginning, we can be in trauma and we don't also know that we're in trauma.
And so currently we can begin to be curious concerning hi. I observed this style. If I do that 5 point sign in daily and afterwards I can go, I notice that I tend in the direction of sensation type of unclear in the morning. What is that concerning? Or at the end of the day, or whenever that may be.
When did I initially begin really feeling that way? Or that's the energised domain. If we're looking in the somatic or the physical domain, perhaps it's this kind of persistent tightening up around my diaphragm and being curious regarding that holding.
These common places. Or perhaps it's the propensity to hold my breath. Well, when did I start holding my breath? Where is that? For me, in EMDR, we describe this as a FloatBack process where we're kind of complying with the signs and symptom back to its origin. Yeah. Lovely. Arielle as we start to make our way towards a conclusion in our conversation, I simply wish to return around to we've discussed various things, although they're also interconnected.
I truly want you to consider this. What would certainly you say? I assume that possibly the large takeaway that I 'd such as around us, around this, is that the story doesn't have to finish below. Right. Like with any type of injury story, we reach be an active participant in shaping what is the end of the story.
And I like this idea that not just do we have what we can speak about as transgenerational trauma, but we also have intergenerational durability and that we can be component of boosting that resilience story. And I believe that's a great deal of what we're discussing today yes. That there's an additional opportunity there.
And I do not believe that we resolve that tale just by caring it for our family or ancestors. There is a method in which, when we are ready to really feel and settle and heal, it is a gift that goes in both generational instructions.
Acknowledging that we're all interconnected, I believe that's a gorgeous, beautiful picture and a lovely idea that we are attached in both instructions. Among the writers that creates on this practice of growing transgenerational strength, he describes the significance of developing generational compassion. And we can do this with our kids as well, yet we begin with ourselves.
